July and August marked the end of summer vacation and the start of filming for Castle for Stana Katic. During this time Stana wrote to several fans on Twitter and shared a few pictures from a magazine shoot.
When a fan mentioned that Stana should one day make a perfume she replied “meh… I’d rather be a shepherdess.”
Another asked if she ever thought about playing a pirate and she answered, “I think about it all the time. Piracy’s in my DNA. Aaaarghhhh! 
” Stana also shared several songs and a book she was reading, “Infinite Jest.”
When posting photos from the set of her photoshoot for Ladies’ Home Journal, a fan, in reference to an organ in one of the photos, asked, “that’s a cool pic how do u feel about organs.” Stana jokingly replied, “I think they’re pretty great. I rely on them when doing most of my living.”
Stana also tweeted about her days on set filming Castle, “awesome: @lizbeth4beauty just saved my life w/some homeopathy & heart.thx 4 giggles, momma!” and
