In September, Christopher Brow, Castlegrip gave us a behind the scenes look at the making of Castle, as well as, a few lessons in production.
One day, he wrote about a joke one of the crew members said. “Jono the Gaffer just referred to the Grips as “light thieves”. This made me laugh. Because its true. Electricians make the light and the Grips Cut the light using flags and scrims. Thus stealing the light. We make the light look natural.”
He said the roof of the precinct can hold “roughly 3 people and a camera.” When asked about the amount of time a set up takes, he said, “this time I had an hour. All dependent on how much prep production has. Then we clean up after each shot!”
Christopher also gave us a behind the scenes look with pictures of “Murder, He Wrote,” as well as, other episodes. Check them out below. For more behind the scenes tweets follow Castlegrip on Twitter.
